ASACP Adds DHD Media

LOS ANGELES — After 10 years in business, DHD Media joined The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection as its newest corporate sponsor.

“DHD grew by providing vital backend support to numerous companies, while ASACP has grown by unifying many of those same companies behind the common goal of fighting child pornography and protecting kids,” ASACP Executive Director Joan Irvine said. “Ultimately, ASACP and DHD Media are both concerned with the same thing — good business practices. I think this shows that the online adult industry has not just expanded in the past decade, it’s also matured.”

DHD Media services online companies through its suite of proprietary technologies that includes online payment processing, fraud detection and prevention, managed hosting and digital rights management.

“ASACP is on the front line, representing us, showcasing the industry’s commitment to eliminating child pornography,” DHD Media CEO Ron Jenkins said. “We at DHD Media are happy to be associated with an organization that promotes a safe online experience for all.”

Since DHD partners with many adult companies in online adult entertainment, Irvine thinks the company has a vested interest in protecting children.

“It makes perfect sense for us to be welcoming DHD aboard,” Irvine told XBIZ. “They already work with so many of our other sponsors including Falcon, Video Secrets, Wicked, Bad Puppy, Homegrown Video and AEBN. By supporting ASACP, all of these companies demonstrate shared concerns and a common goal — protecting their businesses by protecting children.”
